Big things road trip day thirteen - Roma to Bunya Mountains

Our trip was quickly coming to an end and we only had one more night before heading home. We grabbed some groceries before leaving Roma, as tonight we were heading to a self-contained, remote cabin in the Bunya Mountains and needed to self cater.
On the way to Bunya Mountains, we stopped in at Chinchilla and its "Big Watermelon", which is one of the newest Big Things in Australia. We also grabbed some lunch at a little cafe here.
We continued on to the Bunya Mountains via Dalby and spotted another Stihl store with some Big Thing on the roof. The drive into the Bunya Mountains was really pretty and the cabin we had booked through Airbnb was easy to get to.
We spent the afternoon chilling out at the cabin, watching the tiny birds play in the fountain, eating cheese and crackers and enjoying the view from the deck. We had hoped to see a really great view of the night sky but it was a full moon and super bright, so the sky wasn't as good as we hoped.
This was our first Airbnb experience and we really enjoyed it!
